The sports training course aimed at the circuit and course marshals of Tuscany was held on Sunday 28 January in the press room of the Mugello racetrack by the Specialist Motorsport Academy, the school of training promoted by the ACI
Over 100 participants for this first training event preparatory to the 2024 sports season.
During the course, held by Daniele Galbiati (Circuit) and Emanuele Inglesi (Road) with the support of Antonio Canu (Permanent Race Director of the Mugello Autodrome), the new rules for 2024 were explained, the importance of forming a prepared and close-knit group – jersey, the behavior to be followed in the most delicate moments during the events, the importance and guidelines for radio communications and race reports (summary and clarity), the behavior to be followed and the procedures to be followed with hybrid/electric cars. We also talked about issues related to safety, both on the circuit and on the road.
The aim of the course was to provide mental preparation so that the route marshals can act with clarity and confidence in their means even in the most complex situations.
The day then ended with a test, the delivery of certificates of participation and a group photo in the splendid location of the Mugello straight.
