Open day 2024 was held on January 27, the activity dedicated to those who want to approach our world for the first time.
In the splendid setting of the Mugello Circuit which hosted us, around 50 boys and girls had the opportunity to get to know our activity up close.
The first part of the day took place in the press room where Antonio Canu, permanent Race Director of the circuit and president of the association, made his many years of experience available to illustrate to the kids what the Marshalls’ activity consists of, with particular attention to safety issues. During the meeting, videos were shown and a constructive dialogue was established in which the Director answered exhaustively all the questions and curiosities that emerged.
In the second part of the day, the participants were able to visit the Race Control, take a lap of the track and see one of the Marshall stations along the track up close, so as to be able to begin to “experience first-hand” all aspects of the racing activity. a route official.
Everyone present was interested, involved, enthusiastic and animated by that passion which is the basis of our world. We thank them for this and hope that it was only the first of many occasions in which we met and collaborated.
